At InView Imaging, we offer more than just spine and femur studies with our General Electric Lunar Prodigy scanner. Our scanner is able to perform noninvasive studies for Bone Mass Density (BMD) and Body Composition in only a few minutes.
The total body measurement is a fast-growing DXA procedure due to its unique ability to assess a variety of metabolic disorders and their potential impact on skeletal status and total body tissue composition. Our scanner provides direct calculation of total fat, lean and bone tissue. Customized regions of interested can be analyzed for BMD and body composition results.

Overall, Prodigy is twice as fast as other densitometers on the market. The speed and accuracy of our densitometer gives patients improved comfort, especially for elderly patients.
Body Composition for Exercise
During training, athletes strive to achieve a low ratio of fat to lean tissue mass. Experts agree that in order to reach this goal, athletes must track how much body fat is lost instead of relying on the bathroom scale. Height/weight tables that are based on Body Mass Index (BMI), don't distinguish muscle from fat, and are therefore useless for athletic types.

Body Composition testing is not covered by insurances. The cost for this screening is $75, which includes a detailed report of your precise fat and lean mass. Subsequent body composition screenings for returning clients is $50.
